    Heat Mitigation

    Improved Solar Shade (ISS) with Enhanced Durability & Performance

    INCA demonstrated its Solar Off Loading Technology (SOLT) at ExFOB 4, Marine Corps Base TwentyNine Palms, showcasing its ability to reduce heat from solar exposure. Tested on two Utilis TM18 tents—one SOLT-treated and one standard—the SOLT-treated tent required 47% less energy to maintain 78°F. This led to lower fuel consumption, less maintenance, and extended fabric lifespan. SOLT adds no weight and integrates seamlessly with current military deployment practices.

    Condensation Control

    INCA Replaces Legacy Product & 
Provides New Benefits to CSX Transportation

    CSX Transportation sought to replace the outdated and problematic spray-in-place (SIP) urethane foam used for insulating their specialty rail cars designed to transport coils of steel. They approached INCA for a solution, and INCA recommended their CLK2020 Thin Film Thermal Management Solution. Unlike foam, CLK2020 is inexpensive, durable, easy to repair, lightweight, non-flammable, and poses no health hazards during application. After nearly two years of laboratory and field trials, CSX confirmed that CLK2020 matched the thermal performance of foam without its drawbacks. As a result, CSX specified CLK2020 for all their new coil car builds.

    FSU Thin Film Thermal Management Wall Project

    INCA installed the Series 6010 InsulArmor® system at Florida State University’s University Center, bringing advanced thin film thermal management (TFTM) technology from military and space applications to the commercial sector. This system, made from two layers of waterborne acrylics with proprietary minerals, creates an effective barrier against heat and sound. It is environmentally friendly, VOC-compliant, and free from hazardous materials.

    At Doak Campbell Stadium, the InsulArmor system has nearly eliminated heat exchange through the walls, enhancing energy efficiency and creating a quieter, more comfortable environment by reducing HVAC system cycling.
